Verse Builder (“we”) is a no-code Verse generator for Fortnite/UEFN, currently in beta. This page explains what data we process and why. We keep it minimal and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account — when you sign in with Google we receive your email, name and avatar (via Google OAuth) to create your account.
- Your projects — the rules, Game Data and HUD you build, stored so you can save and reload them.
- Product analytics (only with your consent) — usage events and session recordings, to understand how the builder is used and improve it. Typed text (emails, prompts, names) is masked in recordings.
- Error diagnostics — technical error reports to fix bugs.
- Feedback — any message you send us through the in-app feedback or forms.
- AI copilot — the prompts you type to the copilot are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate Verse code. Don't include personal or confidential information in prompts.
Why we use it
To provide the service (authentication, saving your projects, generating code) and, with your consent, to measure usage and improve the product during the beta.
Who processes it (sub-processors)
- Google — sign-in (OAuth).
- Vercel — frontend hosting.
- Cloudflare — API, database and CDN.
- PostHog — product analytics & session replay, hosted in the EU.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- Anthropic — AI model powering the copilot.
Cookies & consent
Strictly-necessary cookies (e.g. your login session) are always set. Analytics cookies and session recording are only enabled after you accept them in the cookie banner — you can decline, and nothing analytics-related runs. You can change your mind by clearing your browser storage for this site.
Data location & retention
Analytics data is stored in the EU (PostHog EU). Other providers may process data in the EU or US under their standard safeguards. We keep your account and project data while your account exists, and analytics data per our providers' retention settings.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at contact@versebuilder.gg and we'll handle your request.
